Your tour departs from a cliff in the Magdalena district, and then takes you over the San Isidro and Miraflores neighborhoods, before returning to Madgalena. It takes some nerve to complete this tour, but it’s worth the experience especially because of the GoPro you’ll get to take with you on the flight. At the end of the tour, your guide will give you the SD card.
Your guides will make every effort to make sure you have a safe, comfortable flight. The day before the flight, your expert guides will give you an exact time based on the forecasted weather conditions — ideally, your tour will happen take place between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Luckily, there’s no wind required, and you can rely on the paraglider’s fan motor to propel you through the sky. For the most part, this part of Peru has good paragliding weather all year-round.
