The Quierolo Vineyard is located in the desert lowlands of Peru, in the town of Ica. 37 miles (60 km) from the Peruvian west coast, the soil in the area has a high amount of loam, making it highly fertile. Because it is in the desert, this arid vineyard relies on drop irrigation. Temperatures change dramatically between day and night, a characteristic that helps impart the best flavor possible to the fruit.

On this guided tour, a sommelier will take you through the vineyard, and introduce the different types of vines and grapes. From there, the tour continues in the distillation area, to observe wine and pisco production in action. The tour ends at a picturesque gazebo, where visitors can choose a wine or pisco tasting.

This tour of the Nazca Lines flies over 15 glyphs that were left behind by inhabitants of the Nazca Desert. The Nazca people built these interesting designs between 500 BC and 500 AD. These pictographs are so large that you can only fully appreciate them from above. To this day, it’s a mystery how these ancient people managed to design such enormous geometric figures with such perfectly straight lines.
