Rafting Urubamba River - Pinipampa section
Urubamba River has dramatic scenery. As you raft down the river, the surrounding mountain slopes will make you feel tiny and in awe of the valley. The Inca considered this river to be sacred, and boating down the river is an exciting introduction to the landscape.

This tour begins with a 40-minute drive to Piñipampa. Although there are Class III rapids during the rainy season from December to April, this is a more gentle section of the river. From May to November to can expect rapids from Class I to Class II.
Your tour starts with a pickup at your Cusco hotel and a 40-minute drive to the river. Before your get in your boat, your instructor will demonstrate how to stay safe while you’re rafting.

Peru’s Urubamba River begins in the Andes, runs past Machu Picchu, and then flows through the Sacred Valley. The river has wonderful rafting.
